1 Thess Chap 4 What is the Mystery of the Harpazo (Rapture)? with David Kenebrew, Th.D.

2025 June 1st Streaming

This week, we will be teaching on 1 Thessalonians Chapter 4. Last week, brother Dwight Davis gave us our first look at this powerful chapter. He also shared some of the Father’s revelations concerning the Harpazo with him. Today, we will continue to delve deeper into the mysteries of Chapter Four. There are so many doctrines and teachings in man-made religion which are misleading and misunderstood concerning salvation, Spiritual Birth, baptism, The Church, The Body of Christ, religious vs Spiritual Identity, and most of all, the resurrection vs the rapture. If there is one topic that goes to the head of the class, it is the various teachings and beliefs on what many call “The Rapture”!
Sadly, there are very few even in the church today who know and understand that this term “Rapture” originated in man-made religion. The journey to the current teaching of the “Rapture” began when Pope Damasus I commissioned St. Jerome, who started translating the Latin Vulgate in 382 AD. He initially revised the existing Latin translations of the Gospels (not from the original Greek). Eventually, he translated most of the Old Testament directly from Hebrew, completing much of the work by around 405 AD.
Thus began the use of the word “Rapture” in the church. However, that word does not appear in the original Greek text, which the Apostle Paul wrote in 1 Thessalonians, chapter 4. Because of this exchange of wording in chapter 4 from “Harpazo to Rapture,” many are led away from the mystery Paul reveals in this chapter. What did Paul mean when he used the Greek word “Harpazo”?

Let’s talk about it…

Walking in the Light with Love for All – I Thess. Chap. 4 with Dwight Davis, M.Th.

2025 May 25th Streaming

The Thessalonians RECEIVED the MESSAGE of the TRUE GOSPEL and soon came to the FULL KNOWLEDGE and UNDERSTANDING of their new SPIRITUAL SON IDENTITY. They began to LIVE and WALK in AGAPE LOVE. Paul also encouraged them to also LIVE and WALK in their ABSOLUTE SANCTIFICATION and HOLINESS.

The Thessalonians were observed for their ENDURANCE and OBEDIENCE to the TRUE GOSPEL and to FATHER! The Thessalonians recognized and allowed THE FATHER’S AGAPE LOVE to be their AGAPE LOVE. In their DECISIONS to LIVE in their NEW SPIRITUAL IDENTITY, they soon began to see THE SPIRITUAL LIGHT REVEALED and the ONENESS and EQUALITY of their position in THE NEW FAMILY OF GOD!

Paul DECLARES to us about our TRANSITION FROM PHYSICAL BODILY DEATH INTO A SPIRITUAL BODY WITH CHRIST. Then Paul now moves into CLARIFYING TO US the events of the HARPAZO (or as some might refer to it as “the RAPTURE” Some of these events have often not been FULLY UNDERSTOOD or CLARIFIED in FULL DETAILS!

So, let’s look at some of these things in a little more depth: . . .

1 Thess Chap 3 – Faith Perfected is Expressed in Love with David Kenebrew, Th.D.

2025 May 18th Streaming

This week, we conclude the teaching on 1 Thessalonians Chapter 3.  The past two Sundays, we had powerful and dynamic messages and teaching on this chapter with our dear sister Brenda Gray (Am I My Brother’s Keeper?) and our brother Dwight Davis (Becoming Established in the Father).  Each of them provided very powerful teachings.  We will review some of them this week.   While the Thessalonians proclaimed no religion nor religious belief, they testified of their new identity in Christ, who was the source of their Spiritual birth and identity, through the gospel of Sonship.  They declared that the God of creation was now their Spiritual Father.  This knowledge was something that no man could teach them academically, intellectually, or religiously.  Why do so many today lack this same knowledge and understanding concerning Spiritual Identity?  Was there something about their faith?  Let’s see what they had learned spiritually. Let’s talk about it…

1 Thess Chap 3 Am I My Brother’s Keeper? With Brenda Gray

2025 May 11th Streaming

“Am I my brother’s keeper?” This was Cain’s response to God after he had killed his brother Abel. (Genesis 4:9)

Cain’s flippant response was evasive and defensive, showing a lack of compassion and accountability for his brother. Spiritually, it represents the danger of denying our impact on others and trying to separate ourselves from the consequences of our actions, or lack of actions.

Quoting from our Sister Rhonda’s message titled, “A Welfare Check Mission! A Revelation of Spiritual Sonship,”

Believers are meant to intertwine with each other, being accountable in sharing resources, whether that be material, physical, or Spiritual talent or Spiritual gifting.

No one wants to wait for anything. Everyone and everything are moving so fast that no one exercises patience in being still. I want it, and I want it now! Whatever “it” may be!

People are “too busy,” or “don’t have time,” to check in on one another!

“Am I my brother’s keeper?”

Philippians 2 3-4 (ESV) says,

“Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves. Let each one of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interest of others.”

Again, I ask the question, “Am I my brother’s keeper?”

As we continue our discussion in 1 Thessalonians, I trust our Father will give us a deeper revelation of the answer to this question.

Becoming Established in the Father – I Thess Chap 3 with Dwight Davis, M.Th.

2025 May 4th Streaming

The Thessalonians were BECOMING ESTABLISHED in THE FATHER as the Holy Spirit led them in their rapid SPIRITUAL GROWTH in KNOWLEDGE and UNDERSTANDING of THEIR BELIEF and TRUST in THE FATHER and the GOSPEL.

Paul and Timothy spent a greatly focused time to ENSURE that the Thessalonians were STRENGTHENED and STEADFAST in their MINDS and HEARTS as they were ESTABLISHED in the GOSPEL! It is clear that the Thessalonians rapidly LEARNED and UNDERSTOOD the TRUE GOSPEL and MADE SPIRITUAL DECISIONS to LIVE in their NEW SPIRITUAL IDENTITY!

There is so much more that THE FATHER has provided us as HIS SPIRITUAL SONS from HIS DIVINE NATURE for us SPIRITUALLY to LIVE, WALK, and GROW in HIS GRACE to SPIRITUALLY LIVE, WALK, and GROW in HIS GRACE!

Let’s look at some of these things in a little more depth:
