What’s love got to do with it? With Brenda Gray

2023 January 22nd Streaming

What’s love got to do, got to do with it?
What’s love but a second-hand emotion?
What’s love got to do, got to do with it?
Who needs a heart when a heart can be broken?

These are the lyrics from a popular song sang by Tina Turner, What’s Love Got to Do with it?

The word “Love” has been used so loosely in today’s society. It has been so misunderstood, that it’s true meaning has been lost to many. This is why so many people find themselves disappointed when the “love” they seek falls short of their needs and/or expectations.

Many are searching for some type of fulfillment that will satisfy a deep longing to be loved and accepted. If love is only an emotion, then it is a “second hand emotion” (according to the song). Can one truly find love? And if so, will it fulfill their deepest desire and need?

In John 21: 15 – 17 Jesus asked Peter twice did he have agape or absolute love for Him?” Peter answered with phileo love, which is; to be fond of, care for affectionately, or have a personal attachment to, which at the moment, was all Peter knew. Later, when the Holy Spirit revealed a fuller understanding of agape Love, Peter used the agape/agapao words nine times in his writings.

This Agape, “Absolute Love” is our Father. This is Pure and True Love! Because our Father is Love!

In Colossians, Paul speaks about this Love.

So, what does love got to do with it? EVERYTHING!!

The Word of Truth of The Gospel with Dwight Davis, M.Div., M.Th.

2023 January 15th Streaming

Paul wanted the Church at Colossae and even us today to know that we have everything we need in full realization of the truth of the Father’s gospel of grace. There is nothing that needs to be added from Gnosticism, Paganism, or Man Made Religion (MMR). Those are full of lies in the world, flesh, and the devil to distract us from the truth and to get us back to flesh and our original identity living. We need to stay in our new Spiritual Identity and Spiritual living in and with the Father as His Spiritual Son.
The shed blood of Jesus permanently forgave all the sins of all mankind to give us RIGHTEOUSNESS with the Father. The physical death of Jesus on the cross gave us HOLINESS with the Father.
We are given the word (logos) of God (the Father) to us as Spiritual Sons to help us live for the Father in our new creation eternal life and Spiritual Identity. The Father and the Holy Spirit will quicken the word of confirmation to us for all that has been revealed to us. Both the Father and the Holy Spirit will confirm the word of the truth of the gospel!
Let us discuss some of these important things concerning the word of the truth of the gospel with our eternal love fellowship with the Father.
