This is the first Sunday in June 2019!  Hey, we’re at the halfway point of the year. Time flies when you’re having fun! Or not having fun! It’s moving and taking far too many prisoners.  Fear of time can and does keep us from seeing what our Father is doing in the Son!  The battle for the mind is raging with no end in sight.  At lease in flesh or box-life identity.  But, for those of us who have received the holy calling which God provided before the world began we should be responding to the high calling of God in Christ Jesus!  What is that? Is it the prize? No. But you see it from there.  Let’s talk about it….

The birthing: Spiritual Process or Act

Our Father is faithful who has spiritually birthed each of us in Christ to Himself as the Son of God!  And He has set before everyone of His spiritually birthed Sons the process of Sonship so that all may grow and be conformed into the image of His Son! For many of us, the issue is we don’t seem to comprehend our spiritual identity and birth.  The Father loves each of us as His Son and is showing each of us what He’s doing in the process of Sonship! Learning to Comprehend!
Eph 3:18-20 May be able to comprehend with all saints what [is] the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God. Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,
This week we look at whether spiritual birth is a process the same as biological birth.  If it is, then we need to know and understand this process to comprehend our spiritual identity.  So, let’s talk about it!

Mother’s Day message with Mother’s in the body

Each of the past years we have had a message from some the mothers in the fellowship. And, this year is no different.  I’ve asked several of our mothers to share with us on motherhood and Sonship.  Are they reconcilable? Is union, oneness and identity complete and fulfilled in both?  And, they will follow our Father’s leading to share and revealed to each. For the last 8-10 years Katherine has closed her prayers with “Father I thank you as your Son in Christ”.  Many who heard these words were somewhat confused or taken back by the words “your Son”.  After all she is a female. Right? Why in the world would she use the words “your Son”?  Simple.  She had learned something about her new identity spiritually that many women and far too many men still don’t know!  That her new identity in Christ has made her a new creation spiritually which is not female by spiritual birth.  So, she can say with all confidence “as your Son”, how? By birth in Christ! The source of her Sonship!  This beloved is the process of Sonship at work!  Let’s let them talk about it….

Reversion is inevitable in religion and the two person gospel

This week in fellowship we’ll be talking about reversion in Christ because of the two person gospel and man-made religion.

Man-made religion always has some type of value and identity system.  This system keeps it’s participants moving to hold onto the past and fearing tomorrow or the future.  There is very little ongoing spiritual knowledge which can help it’s participants from reverting to their old knowledge laced in fear. When the two person gospel of union is heard, taught and preached, reversion is inevitable.  The heavy load of “me and Christ” or “me and Jesus” keeps Him alive “in my life”.  I never stop being me and He never stops being Him.  That’s union! While union is the beginning, there is no exchange of identity available.  We can never become another person spiritually. So many revert to what was familiar in their past religious identity and experience.  Union must yield to oneness for new identity to be revealed as another person and stop reversion. Reversion is not in our best interest.  Never the less, the process of Sonship is at work!  Let’s talk about it…    

Man-Made Religion has No answers for Homosexuality

As we were in fellowship on the walk on the pier, brother Kurtis said “religion has no answers for homosexuality.”  So this week we will go over part of our discussion of why man-made religion has no answers for homosexuality or any other sin committed.  There is a book by brother, Norman Grubb, called “Once caught, no escape”.  Brother Grubb has gone to be with the Lord, but the title of his book reminds me of how man-religion does not provide man with God’s exit plan. Paul tells us that God has provided a way of escape for everyone.  No matter what your fear or weakness may be, His love and grace has prepared a unique answer.  And, it is not religious! Let’s talk about it…

The Conflicted and Fickle God of Man-Made Religion

This week in fellowship we will look at how the God of man-made religion is conflicted and fickle. Many who follow this God say their of decisions”it’s not my fault” God did it and it’s on Him!

I recently heard a back and forth discussion between the vice President and one of the democratic Presidential candidates. I was not surprised with the open dialog on each of their biblical beliefs.  Both are rooted and grounded in religion. Man-made religion.  They both deny there is a mystery to the gospel and the power of God to birth another person spiritually.  They both advanced the idea that the God each is referencing to is conflicted and fickle concerning His love and freedom of identity with man.  One of these two men deny the God given right for man to make a decisions to please man himself and not please God.    While the other  denied responsibility for exercising of him right of personal decision, but blames God’s for those decisions.  Again, both don’t understand the Spirit of God or His intent in the Bible. One other thing that was sighted by both men was that they said “I’m religious”.  Are both proclaiming the same God? If that’s the case their God sounds conflicted and fickle. Let’s talk about it…

When You Believe God Has Failed

The Church today is full of hopeless individuals who live day to day believing that the right attitude, prayer, change of habits or medication will heal their dead existence. They live Sunday to Sunday hoping their faith is real and that God actually cares. They leave every Sunday morning believing that there has got to be more than going back and forth between doing right and doing wrong. Like a squirrel on the interstate, our fragile identities leave us to be roadkill; just waiting for the wrong event at the right moment to lay us waste. I am not going to speak as to the why, but to the what we understand when those times happen. Those times when we cry to our Father in hurt and anger, “Do you not care, why have you forsaken me?” If you have never experienced this moment, then you have never come to the end of yourself – the end of your strength. If you have – welcome to the process of Sonship. Let’s talk about it…

Conclusion: Satan’s effect and impact on the Process of Sonship

Last week in fellowship we talked about Satan and his effect and impact on the process of Sonship.  And how he is not who most believers and people think he is.  While many don’t see their worship of Satan indirectly through the things of this world such as religion, politics, money, human identities and beliefs, his power of fear leaves humans helpless and in unbelief!  But the Father uses him in His process of Sonship. But the Father uses him in His process of Sonship. Satan and most believers have no clue, as the Marvin Gaye song says “what’s going on” in the process of Sonship!
