Life training as the Sons of God

2018 June 24th Streaming

This week in fellowship we will hear from our brother Bryan Cuff in South Africa. I asked Bryan if he would share with us last month and he agreed. We have been in fellowship with him since Nov 2017 through the broadcast and enjoy hearing his knowledge of mystery in Sonship. He has this to say about the message planned this Sunday.

“The Father is busy training His sons for His house. How does he go about this? He lovingly uses the circumstances and situations in ‘your world’ as well as converging powers to show you the ‘excellency of the knowledge of Christ’ in you, which is the greatest revelation and knowledge ever given to mankind!

Hebs 12:5 And ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you as unto children, My son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of him:

1 Peter 4:12 Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you:

Romans 8:39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

Who we are in Christ is who the Father has birthed and called us to be to Himself! Who or what does He call you? Paul said it this way,
Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ. Gal 4:7

What will it take for for us to learn this new identity in Sonship? If we’re sons by birth, what is He doing to train each of us to live as a son with others and the Son to Him? It appears our brother Bryan is going let us know what our Father is doing to raise us up and conform us into the image of His Son! What’s His process for training and conformity? Let’s hear what the Spirit is saying….

Father’s Day

2018 June 17th Streaming

We are going to take a little time in fellowship this week and talk about the origin of Father’s Day.  When did it begin exactly?  Is it obvious why it begin?  Is it really necessary to honor and celebrate Father’s? Heck, without a Father we wouldn’t have mothers or children.  I want us to look at the real need of Father.  Let’s talk about it…

The Power of the Past: Why letting go is not so simple

2018 June 10th Streaming

The message this week is on the “power of the past” and “letting go”.  In our intro verses Paul says tells us that he was forgetting those things which were behind and press toward the mark of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.  Paul said “this one thing I do…forgetting and reaching.”  Can this be a union statement?  And, will oneness and identity come next?   What is the his foundation of for this statement?  Let’s see what the Spirit is saying!

Several years ago Katherine and I were to a Christlife Fellowship, Weekend in the Word in Pine Cove, Texas.  It was Katherine’s first ever Pine Cove and my first in almost 20 years.  It was a joy to see some of the brothers and sister I hadn’t seen and fellowship with in a very long time.  It was during this meeting I heard something that touched me deep within  my Spirit. Our dear brother warren Litzman was teaching and he said these words “over this past year I’ve talked to and counseled with a lot of Christians.” He went on to say “there’s one thing I’ve come to see that has become obvious to me, is their biggest problem is that they can’t let go of their past”.  WOW, that was great!  Brother Litzman explained it was their hurts, and pains and things that went on in the past which kept them in bondage to the situations and circumstances they were facing. I can’t tell you what he was saying meant to him but I know what the Spirit was saying to me.  You see, we had been teaching on identity in our fellowship for several months. And, this was an excellent confirming word.  The words “they can’t let go of their past” was a deep rich statement.   This is the source to the power of the past. Let’s talk about it…..

Like Peter: We step off the boat and sink: Why?

2018 June 3rd Streaming

Our message this week is on why Peter and most of us start out walking by faith and then begin to sink? Is this phenomenon due to the lack of identity? Maybe the power of the C&S Gang (you know the circumstances and situations crowd)? How about the power of desensitization to the person of Christ? Well, what about, FOMO? I would suggest that a vast majority of the people you know or even yourself make decisions daily that are motivated by FOMO. Which could mean before to long we cry “Lord, save me”. All of these venues could or can be the source by which we begin our walking by faith (at least what we call waking by faith) and start to sink with every step we take. Is this important? Yes. Why? Because first of all, far too many of us don’t really know or understand what it really means to walk by faith. And, secondly, our ignorance of the first provides the spirit of fear the power to distract us from the power and strength of true faith. There are a few passages I enjoy fun with and this is one of them! Let’s talk about stepping out of the boat…..
