This Sunday I will share my message from Paul’s letter to Philemon.
Philemon (17:12: 23)
- If thou count me, therefore, a partner, receive him as myself; 12 Whom I have sent again: thou therefore receive him, that is, my own bowels; 23There salute thee Epaphras, my fellow prisoner in Christ Jesus.
I used to believe in the healing powers, that laying hands on someone ill, would make them better instantly, but I also thought it was for the few chosen ones. So, I searched the word and found that Jesus gave such power to 12 Apostles as an enhancement of Himself, but a temporary measure. Today God speaks directly to us through his Son. So, how do we relate and connect to God?
Hebrews 1:1-2 NIV
- In the past, God spoke to our ancestors through the prophets many times and in various ways, 2. But in these last days, he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom also he made the universe.
