This Sunday Fellowship we will talk about “deep calls unto deep” and the meaning as it relates to Spiritual Sonship. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve heard the statement “deep calls unto deep”. I’ve even said those words myself in years gone by. But what exactly does that statement mean, deep calls unto deep”? The “deep” in not much a place or location as it is an environment with ability to consume and contain. It is an environment that can become the place or location at any time. But when it does become the place or location, at that moment the “deep” is completed. That would ultimately mean the “deep” has a need! So, let’s talk about it…
Spiritually born-again believers today believe that they are adopted by God and grafted into the Jewish traditions and promises. Could there be a better ending to the story of adoption than adopted sons being grafted into the family of God, Israel? The answer to that question is yes, there is. It is impossible to finalize the series on The Great Lie – Adopted by God without addressing Romans 11:17 – And if some of the branches were broken off, and you, being a wild olive tree, were grafted in among them, and with them became a partaker of the root and fatness of the olive tree, do not boast against the branches. But if you do boast, remember that you do not support the root, but the root supports you.
I have asked the Senior Pastor of In Christ Ministries International David Kenebrew, Th.D. to sit with me today. David does not only possess a greater understanding of Romans Chapter 11 than I, but he also sees the grafting of the Gentiles into the roots of Israel as a continuation of his last two teachings titled
The Mystery of Sonship: The Identities of Cain and Seth’s Wives. I anxiously look forward to this time with David Sunday as not only an opportunity to correctly understand spiritual grafting but to further see the revelation of spiritual sonship. So, let’s talk about it…
We will conclude our message on where did Cain and Seth get their wives. As we discussed in Part-1 of this message Everything in the Bible is spiritual! What’s written cannot be known or understood through academic knowledge or human intellect. That makes everything in our Bibles a mystery! That means it MUST be revealed by the Spirit of God which inspired it. So, just because we can read the words on the page, even in the original language, doesn’t mean we can know or understand God’s purpose, intent, and plan for all of creation. As I stated, for years I’ve been asked the question of “where did Cain get his wife?” It appears that the answers that many are receiving from pastors, Bible and Sunday School teachers, do not satisfy their hunger. Why? The lack of spiritual revelation! In both religion and secular thinking there is a problem finding the identity of Cain’s wife. The confounding idea is that Adam and Eve appear to be the only people on the entire earth, until they had their sons, Cain and Abel. This result in our question so, where did Cain get his wife? Let’s talk about it…
The Father during the last month has focused me on some important truth concerning the eternal seed of revelation. I plan to share this truth with all of you just as the Father opened it up and revealed it to me. Our Father has predestined, purposed, and progressively rolled out His eternal plan in segments of revelation of the mystery to us. Our Father still has secret things He has yet to reveal to and for us. Why does the Father not reveal all His secret things to us at once? We will talk about some of the reasons provided to us in His Word and by the Spirit of the Father.
We will take a deeper look at Oneness with the Father in our spiritual Sonship and new identity. We will also take a look at how the Father plans to use the eternal spiritual seeds of revelation at intervals in our progressive walk in Sonship with Him to grow us to increasing maturity in Sonship. What does the Father think about us as His sons? Why does the Father seem to hold back some of His secret things and parts of His revelation to us? Or why cannot we hear and receive all the revelation that He is speaking to us? I look forward to sharing and discussing these things with you.
This week in fellowship we are going answer a question I’ve been asked for many years by believers and non-believers alike. The question is “where did Cain get his wife?” It would make sense to ask such a question when there seemed to be only three people on the planet at the time. So, if there were only Cain and his parents Adam and Eve, then where did this woman come from? The woman Cain married and had children with. Religion has had several answers to this question. And over the years I’ve asked those who wanted to know the answer what they’ve been told. I received most of the same answers I’d heard over the years. What I’ve come to realize is that the answers people have received to this question seem to be insufficient. Because many keep asking this same question again and again. The answer to this question is in the Bible. It’s always been there before our eyes. But like we’ve said many times before, everything in the Bible spiritual. God has faithfully provided the answer to a question He knew men would want to know. His answer is not academic, intellectual, religious but spiritual. His answer to this question is like all other questions which deals with the mystery of Sonship. It must be revealed spiritually. So, I’m not here to argue with you over what you’ve been told concerning the question of Cain and his wife. Or the wife of his little brother Seth. I will give you the answer to this question similar to what Paul said in 1Cor 15:3-4.
For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
Let me transliterate it this way,
For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, where Cain and Seth both got their wives according to the scriptures; And that they received their wives by the purpose, intent, and plan of God according to the scriptures:
So, this is not a theory or concept but the revelation of a mystery which has always been waiting to be revealed by the Holy Spirit. He that have ears to hear what the Spirit is saying will be fine! Let’s talk about…
This Sunday, we will look at the greatest mural the Godhead ever painted. A mural painted in words – the mural of the purpose, intent, and plan of God before the foundation of the world. A mural that can only be seen in retrospect through the spiritual eyes of sonship. For the mind of the Lord is only known by the spiritual birthed sons of God. To those sons, He desires to reveal His hidden wisdom in a Mystery. A wisdom that He predestined before the ages to our glory. We will look at the where, who, what, when, and resulting identity of Proverbs chapter 8. Let’s talk about it…
I had notes prepared to teach on Romans 11:11-32 – the grafting of the Gentiles to the roots of Israel. This was intended to be a conclusion to the series titled The Great Lie – Adopted by God. While compiling my notes, I was strongly redirected by the Holy Spirit to put that subject aside and explore the Wisdom of God. My study began with the various Hebrew words for time in Ecclesiastes chapter 3. The study of time in verse 11 inevitably led me to Proverbs chapter 8.
Now, I must confess that the Book of Proverbs had never been anything more to me than an instruction manual for receiving knowledge and wisdom, and Chapter 8 was just another brick in that wall of the same tedious lecturing of Solomon. But on that night, at that moment, the identity of wisdom, beginning with the Godhead before the creation of time unfolded like a documentary. I cannot describe the amazement my mind’s eye was seeing. Proverbs chapter 8 became a mural that was painted by the Wisdom of God.
Our union with the Father through spiritual new birth, the cross, redemption, and spiritual identity before the foundation of the world unfolded as I continued to read. Reading with the mind of the spiritual son, the deep began speaking to deep. I will teach what I have come to understand about wisdom over two weeks. I will lay a foundation this Sunday, and discuss Proverbs chapter 8 next. Keep 1 John 2:13 in mind until we meet together on Sunday – ” I write to you, fathers, because you have known Him who is from the beginning”.
We will conclude our message from last week on reconciliation with “The Cross: The Mystery of Forgiveness and Redemption”. As we talked about last week, reconciliation took place before the foundation of creation and was manifested at the cross. It was not something God did because man sinned. Thus, neither was forgiveness and redemption a reaction behavior. There is so much we have never been told about the depth and mystery of the cross. The cross was the place God revealed that His purpose, intent and plan (PIP) was in a person. He brought forth His victory of exchange! He revealed a new death which was before creation. This was a death unto life. And with it came forgiveness and redemption which was established before the foundation of the worlds! Sadly, His forgiveness and redemption is still a mystery today, even at this very hour as you read this. But why is this precious and powerful act of love hidden? Why is it not being proclaimed in churches, by preaches and pastors and Bible teachers to the body of Christ? Even though it’s a mystery hidden from our senses knowledge, the Father has provided the work of the Holy Spirit, the reveler of all things spiritual to make known the mystery of His will to anyone who has ears to hear what the Spirit is saying! So, let’s talk about it….
Happy New Year! We thank our Father for His love and grace and the time He provided for us in fellowship this past year of 2020. I can’t express the joy and blessing it’s been! But as Paul has said, “forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forward to things which are ahead. I press toward the mark for the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.” The Father will continue pressing us further into the process of Sonship in 2021. Our days, weeks and months are numbered, but our time in learning spiritual Sonship is without measure. Again as Paul says, “See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, Redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord [is].” I thank each of you for your prayers and love to the fellowship! Many have been strengthened and encouraged because of who you are in Christ as the spiritual Son of God! Man’s deepest need is spiritual identity, and we are learning to live and walk as the spiritual Sons we were birthed by God to be to Him. Amen! In 2021 the process of Sonship will continue to conform each of us. As you’re able to receive of course…
The message this week is on the cross and the mystery of reconciliation, forgiveness, and redemption. It is the mystery of the cross which many today seem to be missing in their theology of the cross. Let’s take a look at the cross and it’s mystery of reconciliation. The word reconciliation is used all the time by almost everyone. But what does it mean? Some advocate a person is reconciled to God when they are saved or born-again. While others declare, a person is reconciled when they repent and ask God to forgive their sin. And yet for others, reconciliation takes place when Christ died on the cross. But this reconciliation does not actually become theirs until a person hears the gospel and responds in faith. All of these ideas have been taught, preached, believed and misunderstood for far too long! Let’s hear what the Spirit is saying concerning this mystery of reconciliation. So, let’s talk about it…
I would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy 2021 New Year! My message in fellowship this week deals with a problem that many have not realized. The problem as my title indicates is “Pursuing a relationship with God”. We were created for Union, Oneness and Identity. Many believers have labeled this fundamental need as a “relationship with God”. As well intention as this term may be, it paints a picture that distorts the real mystery of spiritual Oneness. It actually short circuits our understanding of the new birth and leads us away from true spiritual identity. One ongoing theme in the Bible that cannot be ignored. Let’s talk about it…
